It was such a great day for the children and the parents, who were invited in the afternoon to see the children flamenco dance. "We invited Anita y Ramon to run flamenco sessions as part of our school 'Spanish Day'. Anita really impressed both children and staff with her beautiful clothing and exciting dancing workshops and Ramon with his guitar playing . Anita and Ramon  were very flexible and addressed children of all age groups in a kind and dedicated manner.  They  encouraged all children to move in a variety of ways and to use Spanish to accompany their actions. The children were very excited to have the opportunity to have a go at flamenco, and their approach meant that the children were easily able to access it. The rhythm games were well structured and enjoyable, and the children had the opportunity to be creative and develop their own ideas. The pace of the lesson meant that the children were fully engaged, and the whole was set in the context of Spanish culture. Both boys and girls were inspired by their teaching, Their positive encouragement and calm manner were exemplary. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, they were buzzing with their new dance moves and keen to repeat the performance. The flamenco teaching really enriched our Spanish day and the children got to learn more about the culture and language."
